Please read and understand our Workshop Policies and Information before your visit to

Brightlife.

By making a booking or purchase you are agreeing to the terms and policies stated below.

Monthly Installment Payments  - Weekend Workshop Retreats

Did you know you can pay for your Retreat in interest-free monthly installments?

We understand that sometimes it can be easier to spread the cost.

If you would like to arrange monthly installment payments on any of our Retreats, simply pay a deposit of £95 to secure your booking and then make agreed monthly payments, ensuring the balance of the Retreat is paid off before it commences.

Loyalty Discount Scheme

We love to see clients returning time and time again to enjoy a variety of Workshops at Brightlife.

The Loyalty Discount Scheme awards 10% off your second Workshop Retreat, 15% off your 3rd Weekend Retreat and 20% off further courses within a 12 month period.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

A deposit of £95 is required to secure a place on a course, with payment in full prior to arrival.

Bookings made 7 days or less prior to arrival must be paid in full with a credit/debit card at the time of booking.

If the booking is cancelled, giving less than 7 days’ notice, the deposit will be retained.  For bookings cancelled with more than 7 days’ notice, the deposit may be transferred to another course/event.

If a gift certificate is used to make a booking, the certificate number must be provided at the time of booking.  If the booking is cancelled, giving less than 7 days’ notice, the gift certificate to the value of £95 will be retained, with a new certificate being issued for any remaining balance.

For bookings cancelled with more than 7 days’ notice, £95 from the gift certificate will be transferred to another course/event, with any remaining balance being refunded by way of issuing a new gift certificate.

Regardless of the cancellation period notified by a customer or any flight changes, the flight costs incurred by Brightlife on the customer’s behalf will be charged to the customer in full.

The Marion H MacMillan Bursary

Through the kindness of our founder, Marion H MacMillan we are able to offer a number of Bursary places on our Weekend Workshop Retreats each year.

Brightlife was set up to provide spiritual fulfillment and alternative thinking and healing in the Isle of Man, offering Retreats in a variety of different subjects to help with personal development and appeal to many areas of interests and beliefs.

Our Marion H MacMillian Bursary places are intended for those who genuinely cannot afford to come to an event, but who would benefit greatly from the teachings and special environment that Brightlife offers.

A Bursary place provides financial assistance to individuals wishing to attend a Weekend Workshop Retreat, reducing the cost by 50%.

If you wish to apply for a bursary or find out more about our monthly installments policy, please contact our team.

Weekend Format &
Timings

All Weekend Retreats commence on Friday evenings and conclude late Sunday afternoon.

A detailed programme will be provided upon arrival at Brightlife for your weekend retreat but as a general guide, most workshops commence on Saturday and Sunday morning at approx 9:30 with a mid morning coffee break in the conservatory.

Lunch is buffet style and usually served at 1pm in the main house with a further mid afternoon break in the conservatory.

On Saturday the workshop normally finishes for 17:00 with the exclusive spa session being from 17:45 to 19:00 and dinner being served in the main house for 19:30.

Most workshops conclude on Sunday at approximately 16:00 to allow for taxi collections and return travel to the airport.

Exclusive spa time is included with every retreat on Saturday evening before dinner.  This is a spa session only and treatments are not available.

Why not start your weekend by booking a Friday spa session and luxury treatment... but please do reserve a space at the time of booking as treatment spaces are limited and get booked up very early.

Arrivals / Departures & Checking in

For UK delegates, on-Island transport will be arranged and pre-booked by our administration staff.

The driver will display a Brightlife sign in the airport foyer.

Your return transport is booked to collect you from Brightlife at least 2 hours before your flight is due to depart. This is to ensure that if there are any delays en-route, you will still make your flight back to the UK. Brightlife is responsible for your safe journey back to the Island’s airport, as such all pre-booked taxi collection times must be adhered to and cannot be amended once your booking is confirmed.

If alternative arrangements are made outside of your agreed booking there will be a charge of £40 to cover the cost of the cancellation of your pre-booked transport. We cannot accept any responsibility for anything that may happen if you arrange your own transport.

For local delegates, Brightlife is approximately five miles from Ramsey heading towards Andreas.

Upon arrival please sign in at the main house. Friends and family can contact you during your stay on 01624 881125 which will take them through to the main house or you can provide them with your bedroom direct line once you have booked in.
