Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
At this moment in time it is impossible not to be aware of the impact that Coronavirus is having around the world.
As the situation continues to evolve, we fully appreciate you may have concerns about attending The Spa
We would like to offer some reassurance and advise of some changes we have implemented to try and continue the level of service you have come to expect from us.
As it has always been, the safety of our guests and members of our team remains our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have taken additional measures as advised by public health authorities (including the WHO and CDC) to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:
The team are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols.
We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas (including reception, door handles, public bathrooms, streamline machine, locker keys etc.) and have continued the use of strong disinfectant.
We have temporarily ceased the complimentary snack platter served in the spa on our half day sessions in accordance with current food safety recommendations.
The lemon slices in water and chocolate provided at the end of each massage has been prepared by staff members wearing medical grade sterile gloves.
We have increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitisers in our reception area and therapy rooms.
Changes to Existing Bookings
We have a number of therapists who are currently self-isolating, meaning we are presently running a skeleton team. We would like to ask any guests with existing bookings to adhere to the Government guidelines and the follow these additional measures as advised:
If you have a cough, cold or temperature, you should not attend. We ask that you advise us immediately so that your booking can be rescheduled, or a full refund given.
If you fall into the high-risk category i.e. over 70, have an underlying respiratory or heart condition or are diabetic, we ask that you advise us immediately so we can reschedule your booking or offer you a full refund.
Pregnant guests will be asked to re-schedule or receive a full refund.
Any guests attending the Spa are to use the hand sanitiser available in reception upon arrival.
Washing hands thoroughly (recommended for 20 seconds) by both guest and therapist before treatment commences
Whilst the situation with Coronavirus persists, we will be offering a limited treatment menu. As such we have temporarily suspended our range of facials and a number of other treatments that use implements such as Hot Stones, Bamboo Massage and our Ila Body treatment which use crystals and poultices.
Some of the treatments we will still be offering have been adapted slightly to minimise face to face contact.

We will be waiving our cancellation policy and offering a full refund should you feel more comfortable cancelling your visit to The Spa. Our Gift Certificates and E-cards are non-refundable but will be honored should you wish to re-schedule an existing appointment. This includes any Certificates or E-cards that have exceeded their expiry date.
Please be assured that we are closely monitoring daily developments and taking increased precautions by reinforcing the proper guidelines put in place by the World Health Organisation, Public Health England, UK Government and local public health authorities.
