Language of Rhythm and Dance Egyptian Bellydance - 30th March – 1st April 2012

This fantastic weekend led by master teachers will include a thorough interpretation and break down of bellydance technique and layering, also giving you tips on how to make the most of your moves and isolations.

Simon will explain and demonstrate how Arabic rhythms work and how a basic knowledge of this will help a dancer interpret their bellydance technique.

During the course, we will build on previous courses with technique and new rhythms. Students will also work on improvisation and a dynamic drum solo choreographed by Katie and Simon culminating in your own complete performance sequence if you desired!

This course is suitable for all as it covers aspects and information useful for beginner to teachers and professionals.

Katie and Simon will give a talk and demonstration after supper on the Friday evening.
