The special focus of this yoga weekend will be on pranayama [the breath] and the effects your breathing has on your attitude and energy level. In a small group like this, it is possible to give personal instruction which can take you through and beyond your usual habits for an expansive experience that puts you in touch with greater reserves of energy.
Whatever your ability, you will be most welcome. Come and recharge mind, body and spirit. Ruth White was taught by BKS Iyengar and her own yoga teaching is a source of inspiration both physically and spiritually. She endeavours to adapt her teaching to the ever-changing needs of her students.
As Barbara Wren is a practitioner of yoga, she will be very much part of the yoga sessions; and Ruth, who has practised Natural Nutrition for the past fifteen years, will play an active role in the nutrition aspect of the weekend workshop.
CELLULAR AWAKENING TALKS
Nutrition has been chemically based for so long, without much emphasis on physics, quantum physics and energy. In these talks, Barbara Wren will explain how nutrition has ignored the information about how the human body both produces and stores light. Since light is the component connecting all living matter, past inaccurate nutritional information has prevented this from happening, making people feel isolated and fearful.
This missing ingredient, light, connects you not only to the universe but to every cell in your body. The vibration of light carries universal wisdom to be stored around each cell of your body, thus making it constantly available.
People often talk about your ‘lightbody' without realising you need to be in good nutritional balance for this to operate. Only now are we beginning to understand the shortcomings of poor diet and suppressive treatments in terms of personal illness and distress. Barbara will explore the importance of light and communication with all the natural rhythms and cycles to maximise your human potential.
Through her talks, Barbara will show you how to optimise and prepare your body by combining her nutritional approach with ancient healing techniques.
Ruth White has run successful yoga centres for over thirty years. Finding relief from her back pain through personal instruction from BKS Iyengar, she became inspired to travel to India to study with him. Today Ruth teaches from her yoga centres in Oxfordshire and Cheam, as well as on retreats abroad in Europe, Australia , Japan , North America and Mexico .
Barbara Wren, Founder of the College of Natural Nutrition, has been teaching and lecturing for the past twenty-seven years, showing people a different approach to healing through nutrition and healing techniques. She encourages you to contact your own inner wisdom as the only true way back to wholeness and happiness.
