May 2010 Joyfully Alive - the path of the sacred clown - Rachel Caine

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd May

This will be a wonderful weekend of joy, light and laughter in discovery of the Red Nose and the many blessings it imparts, as we travel deeply together, connecting from the heart. We will play, dance, sing, improvise with each other, building a place of trust, safety and happiness.

Free to explore the discovery of the Red Nose in peaceful and beautiful surroundings, to take risks, to be silly, and to have fun! To be silly means to be blessed, and we will be discovering some of the essential magic of the Path of the Sacred Clown as we surrender to the beauty of the moment. Moving from stillness to craziness, offering ourselves up to create joy for the rest, we will start to get a flavour of the sacred clown's calling, a powerful medicine which can transform darkness to light and sadness to joy.

Rachel Caine is a Sacred Clown, Performer, Teacher and Shamanic Healer. She has travelled with a Circus, worked in theatre, hospitals, prison, with the homeless, the elderly in residential homes and Special Needs adults and children, clowning and teaching throughout Europe. She runs retreats at Cortijo Romero in Spain and privately in Ibiza , teaching adults how to use clowning as healing medicine.  She is passionate about bringing love, life and laughter to our communities through the heart of the clown.
